CYRENA / TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

The terms for using Cyrena and making it part of your day.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to the Cyrena app and the website at cyrena.app. “Cyrena”, “we” and “us” refer to the developer providing the app and website; for an app distributed through Apple, the developer is identified in its store or TestFlight listing. You can contact us at hello@cyrena.app.

By using Cyrena, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the app and website. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Using Cyrena

Cyrena helps you view your schedule, record check-ins, review personal patterns, plan rest and track focused work. You are responsible for deciding whether a suggestion fits your circumstances and for checking changes before applying them.

Use Cyrena lawfully and only with data, calendars and accounts you are authorised to access. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious content or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.

You retain rights in your own information. Cyrena’s software, brand and website content remain the property of their respective owners. These terms permit use of the service; they do not transfer ownership of the software or brand.

Calendars and other connected services

Apple Health and calendar connections are optional and depend on the permissions you grant. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Availability, synchronisation and editing may be affected by your device, internet connection, permissions or the provider.

Creating, moving or deleting an event can change the connected calendar. When you choose a calendar as the destination for new focus sessions, completed work segments can be saved there automatically. People who share that calendar may see those events. Review your destination and sharing settings before saving.

Cyrena does not promise that every event is editable or that all calendar changes appear immediately. Check important appointments in their source calendar. You can disconnect providers in the app and revoke permissions through Apple or Google.

Planning estimates and health information

Schedule load, cycle dates, fatigue outlooks, free windows and suggested changes are based on available data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Your history may not contain enough information to produce an estimate. A prediction does not determine how you will feel or what you should do.

Cyrena is a planning and wellbeing tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, contraception or fertility guidance. Do not use it for emergency decisions or as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Privacy, exports and stopping use

The Privacy Policy explains what information Cyrena uses, where it is stored and how you can manage permissions. You control whether to connect services and whether to share an export.

You may stop using Cyrena at any time. Use Privacy & data → Reset Cyrena to remove local app data and disconnect providers. Resetting or uninstalling the app does not delete records already saved in Apple Health or Apple or Google Calendar. Delete those through the source service. Copies you export or share also need to be managed separately.

Before resetting the app or changing devices, save any information you want to keep using the available export tools. An export is not a complete copy of your Health or calendar records.

Availability and responsibility

Features may change, and interruptions or errors can occur. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular productivity or wellbeing outcome, or complete compatibility with every device and connected service.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, Cyrena is provided as available without additional guarantees beyond those required by law or the applicable app licence. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or removes statutory guarantees and remedies.

If a feature fails or you believe a change was applied incorrectly, contact support with the relevant details. Avoid sending passwords or unnecessary health information.

Apple app licence

For an app obtained through the App Store, the licence supplied with that app applies. Where no custom end-user licence is supplied, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies. These service terms do not replace the applicable app licence or Apple’s platform terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or seek consent for material changes. Changes do not remove rights that have already arisen.
